\nLocation: Canterbury, Kent Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

\nI am supporting a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Canterbury, known for their commitment to quality, efficiency, and employee development. Due to continued growth, They are seeking a proactive and organised HR Assistant to support their busy HR function.
\nThe Role
\nAs an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations across the business. Working closely with the HR team, you will ensure processes run smoothly and employees receive a professional and supportive HR service.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding \n
- Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems \n
- Assisting with recruitment processes (job adverts, screening, interview coordination) \n
- Supporting payroll administration and employee benefits coordination \n
- Managing HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and policy updates \n
- Handling employee queries and providing first-line HR advice \n
- Supporting absence management processes and tracking \n
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies \n
- Assisting with HR projects and initiatives \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Previous experience in an HR Assistant or similar HR support role \n
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail \n
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment \n
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal \n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) \n
- A team player with a proactive and positive approach \n
- Understanding of HR processes and employment legislation is desirable \n
