The Opportunity\nReporting into the Finance Director and working within a close-knit finance team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions, and helping drive improvements across finance processes.
\nThis is an exciting time to join, with the business implementing a new ERP system, giving you the opportunity to be involved in systems development, reporting enhancements, and process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts with meaningful analysis and commentary. \n
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial records. \n
- Support multiple group entities, ensuring consistent financial reporting and compliance. \n
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors. \n
- Support VAT returns, corporation tax processes and wider statutory compliance. \n
- Produce product costing information and support costing activities. \n
- Process staff expenses. \n
- Contribute to finance improvement projects and provide ad hoc analysis when required. \n
- Play an active role in the implementation of a new ERP system and the development of financial reporting and analytics. \n

\nYou'll ideally have:
\n- \n
- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent). \n
- Around two years' experience in a management accounting role. \n
- Previous experience within manufacturing or FMCG. \n
- Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. \n
- Knowledge of audit support and tax compliance. \n
- Strong Excel skills. \n
- Experience with ERP systems or systems implementation would be advantageous. \n
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills. \n
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset. \n
