Support for Learning Assistant (Advanced) - FLK14406

Falkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant (Advanced) for Carmuirs Primary School. You will provide support for our teacher and children in our Nurture Room to enhance experiences and achievement for all. You will undertake a range of support activities such as general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children. Experience of working with children with additional support needs is preferred.

Good communication skills are essential and ability to be flexible as we respond to the needs of our setting. You should enjoy working as part of a team and place importance on building positive relationships.

You will work 27.5 hours per week on a term time basis. Your working pattern will be 9.00am-3.00pm – Monday to Friday.

This post is temporary until June 2027 due to service requirement.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.
