What you’ll be doing

• Preparing surfaces for decoration across both internal and external environments, including working on new and existing surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.

• Delivering a great customer experience by communicating clearly with residents and keeping them informed throughout the job
\n
• Always working safely and in line with health and safety regulations
\n
• Using mobile technology to manage jobs, record work completed, and maintain accurate records
\n
• Assessing repair requirements through property inspections, including identifying issues such as damp and mould and selecting the most effective solution to resolve them and minimise follow-up visits.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who:

\n
• Has a recognised qualification in Painting & Decorating (C&G Level 2, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience)
\n
• Proven experience working in a customer-focused environment
\n
• The ability to assess repairs and use your expertise to identify the most effective solutions
\n
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain work clearly and provide a great customer experience
\n
• Experience using mobile technology to receive and update work records
\n
• Follows risk assessments, manufacturer’s guidance, and all health and safety procedures, including COSHH and manual handling
\n
• Holds a full, clean UK driving licence.
