We are working with a leading Repairs and Maintenance Contractor within the Social Housing sector to recruit a Plumber to join their team in Sittingbourne Kent.

As an operative within the Social Housing sector, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and improvement of properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality and in compliance with H&S and relevant regulations. Your role will focus on carrying out routine property maintenance, completing multiple jobs per day, ensuring a best in class standard of customer service is provided to the residents and their homes in which you're working.

• Fault Diagnosis: Attend on-site visits to identify the root cause of shower breakdowns or leaks.
\n

• Repairs & Replacements: Safely disassemble units to repair or replace faulty parts, including heating elements, cartridges, and digital shower boxes.
\n

\n
• Plumbing & Electrical Work: Isolate water and electrical supplies, safely disconnect and reconnect pipework and wiring (often requiring basic electrical certification).
\n

Qualifications/Experience Required

\n
• Proven experience as a Plumber Multi in social housing or similar environment.
\n
• City & Guilds / NVQ in Plumbing level 2 (desirable)
\n
• Knowledge of NHF Sors desirable
\n
• Relevant trade qualifications in plumbing, CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness cert. (Desirable)
\n
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
\n
• Experience using a PDA, good IT skills with experience using job scheduling software
\n
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check - with no unspent criminal convictions
\n
• Full, UK, manual driving license
\n
