An opportunity has arisen at Stirling Council for a Cleaning Assistant to work within our Public Convenience Team.
\nThe post will involve providing cover to offer a professional cleaning service on a 52.2 week basis, working 5 days over 7 days. Summertime Hours between 6am – 8pm, winter time hours between 6am – 6pm and paid at Stirling Council Grade 2.
\nThe post holder will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of an allocated list of public conveniences which will be used by the general public.
\nApplicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners. Be able to clean surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone including driving to areas anywhere in the Council area during the hours of darkness and in inclement weather.
\nPersonal protective equipment, tools, transport and training will be provided.
\nApplicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
\nA current full driver’s licence is essential for this post
