\n The Opportunity\n

\n A respected South Coast-based regional contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a newly secured project in North Hampshire.\n
\n
\n The business delivers a mix of new build, refurbishment and extension projects, typically ranging in value from around £1m to £8m. Their work is mainly across Hampshire, Dorset and the wider South Coast, with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects for repeat clients.\n
\n
\n This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who enjoys taking ownership of a project on site, managing subcontractors closely, and working within a hands-on regional contractor environment where communication is direct and senior management are accessible.\n

\n The Role\n
\n
\n As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.You will work closely with the Project Manager, commercial team, design team and subcontractors to ensure the scheme progresses smoothly from mobilisation through to completion and handover.\n
\n
\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n

  • Manage daily site operations from start through to completion
    • \n
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site labour
    • \n
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety across the site
    • \n
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and quality requirements
    • \n
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and commercial team
    • \n
  • Manage site paperwork, inductions, RAMS and progress reporting
    • \n
  • Liaise with the client, consultants and key stakeholders
    • \n
  • Monitor progress, identify issues early and help drive solutions
    • \n
  • Ensure a clean, organised and professional site environment
    • \n
  • Oversee snagging, handover and completion stages
    • \n
\n
\n What We're Looking For\n
\n
\n The ideal candidate will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong main contractor background and experience delivering projects of a similar size and nature.\n
\n
\n You should have:\n
\n
    \n
  • Proven experience managing construction projects on site
    • \n
  • Background with a main contractor
    • \n
  • Experience on new build, refurbishment, extension, education, healthcare, commercial or leisure schemes
    • \n
  • Strong subcontractor coordination skills
    • \n
  • Good understanding of programme, quality and health & safety requirements
    • \n
  • Ability to manage site teams and keep projects moving forward
    • \n
  • Strong communication skills with clients, consultants and internal teams
    • \n
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
    • \n
  • Full UK driving licence
    • \n
