SEN Teaching Assistant - Cambridge - September Start\n

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive primary school in Cambridge, starting September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and looking to develop their skills within a nurturing school environment that offers strong mentorship and ongoing professional development.

The school is looking for a committed practitioner with effective behaviour management skills, strong communication abilities, and proven experience supporting children with SEN across the primary age range.

    Rate of pay - £90-£120 per day (depending on experience)

  • \n

    Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS\n
    \n
  • \n

    SEN experience is essential (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language, or other additional needs)

  • \n
  • \n

    Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted)

  • \n
  • \n

    Relevant TA or SEN-specific training desirable

  • \n
  • \n

    Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

  • \n
\n

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:\n

    Hold Right to Work in the UK

  • \n
  • \n

    Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

  • \n
  • \n

    Provide two professional child-related references

  • \n
