£16.95 to £21.36 per hour based on Overtime and shift pattern.\n

\n Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of a leading food distribution company based in the Tamworth area.\n
\n This is an ongoing role delivering to supermarkets on a regular shift pattern. The work would include minimal handball and would be 1 to 2 drops and 1 to 2 collections on average. Based in either a curtain sider or box vehicle unit. \n

The Role:\n
\n
\n

\n
• Local or Distance bay deliveries to Regional Distribution centres.
  
  
\n
• 1 to 2 drops or collections on a daily basis
  
  
\n
• Start times on days between 03:00 & 07:00hrs and start times on Nights between 20:00 & 00:00hrs
  
  
\n
• Minimal Handball
  
  
\n
• Regular shift pattern on Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Sunday
  
  
\n
• Ensuring timely and professional deliveries to customers
  
  
\n
• Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
  
  
\n

Pay Rates:\n
\n
\n

\n
• £16.95 per hour on Days
  
  
\n
• £18.81 per hour on Nights
  
  
\n
• Overtime premiums and weekend rates between £18.31 and £21.36 per hour
  
  
\n

\n
Requirements:\n
\n
\n

\n
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
  
  
\n
• Valid CPC and Digi Card
  
  
\n
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience required
  
  
\n
• Previous RDC work experience desirable
  
  
\n
• Comfortable with paperwork
  
  
\n
• Good customer service skills and reliability
  
  
\n
