Job Description
Our Client seeks a permanent Credit Controller to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. The Credit Controller will own and perform collections activity for this organisation having your own book portfolio to minimise debtor balances & exposure.
\n\nDuties of the Credit Controller include:
\n- \n
- Daily credit control via telephone, letter and email in line with agreed collection cycle and whilst maintaining accurate activity records. \n
- Produce daily arrears report and report to senior stakeholders on a daily basis. \n
- Management of external debt collection agencies \n
- Management of litigation cases as required. \n
- Update customer records with direct debit mandates. \n
- Process daily direct debit collections and cash allocation. \n
- Manage customer queries and complaints in a timely and effective manner. \n
- Produce monthly arrears report for Board reporting purposes. \n
- Develop and maintain collection processes and procedures taking into account compliance requirements. \n
- General lease administration of Own Book portfolio including activating and terminating proposals along with raising settlement quotes and invoices. \n
- Assisting in both internal and external audit as required \n
- Support the development of processes and procedures through pro-active, constructive challenge and feedback. \n
- Close collaboration with other members of the Finance team and other departments to ensure key deliverables are achieved. \n
Requirements for the Credit Controller include:

- 3 Years+ previous credit control experience in a business-to-business environment. \n
- Minimum GCSE English and Maths both grade B or above. \n
- Strong systems skills including Microsoft Office \n
- Conscientious and accurate with attention to detail along with a 'can do' attitude. \n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. \n
- Well organised and able to prioritise and manage a varied workload in a dynamic organisation. \n
- Strong time management skills. \n
- Good team player with ability to engage at all levels. \n
