Role: Marketing & Communications Manager – Dartford
\nSalary: £35k- £45k DOE
\nWorkingHours: 08:30am- 17:30pm Monday to Friday

General overview:
\nThe Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the external brand presence using customer-facing communications.
\nThe role will ensure that all external communications, marketing collateral, website content, social media activity and customer-facing materials are professional, accurate, consistent and aligned with the brand.
\nWorking closely with the Sales, Commercial and Product teams, the Marketing & Communications Manager will review, create and coordinate content that supports customer engagement, promotes our products and services, and strengthens our market presence.
\nResponsibilities:
\nBrand Management
\n- \n
- Act as a guardian of the brand. \n
- Ensure consistency across all external communications and materials. \n
- Maintain brand templates and marketing assets. \n
- Support the development of company branding initiatives where required. \n
Marketing Collateral
\nCreate, update and maintain customer-facing collateral including:
\n- \n
- Brochures\n
- \n
- Flyers \n
- Product guides \n
- Customer presentations \n
- Exhibition materials \n
- Promotional items \n
- Technical literature \n
- Ensure all materials are professionally presented, accurate and aligned with current branding guidelines. \n

External Communications
\n- \n
- Draft and coordinate external customer communications. \n
- Support the preparation of customer announcements, newsletters and business updates. \n
- Ensure all external communications reflect the brand and tone of voice. \n
- Review communications produced by other departments to ensure consistency and quality. \n
Social Media
\n- \n
- Coordinate and maintain social media presence. \n
- Create and schedule content across relevant platforms. \n
- Promote company news, product launches, exhibitions and customer success stories. \n
- Monitor engagement and recommend improvements to increase visibility. \n
Website Management
\n- \n
- Maintain and regularly update the website. \n
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities to improve user experience, ensuring all information is accurate, relevant and up to date. \n
- Work with external website providers where required to implement improvements and updates. \n
- Ensure new products, services and company updates are reflected on the website in a timely manner. \n
Internal Support
\n- \n
- Support the Sales and Commercial teams with customer-facing materials. \n
- Assist with exhibitions, trade shows and industry events. \n
- Liaise with suppliers, designers and marketing agencies where required. \n
- Support company-wide communications projects as requested. \n
Reporting
\n- \n
- Monitor website traffic and social media engagement. \n
- Produce simple monthly reports on marketing activity and performance. \n
- Identify opportunities to improve customer engagement and brand visibility. \n
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
\n- \n
- Experience of working within a B2B marketing role, ideally within Electrical or distribution based industries \n
- Managing website content and updates. \n
- Producing professional marketing and communication materials. \n
- Coordinating social media activity. \n
- Working with external suppliers, designers or marketing agencies. \n
- Reviewing and editing written communications. \n
- Maintaining brand standards across multiple communication channels. \n
It’s a bonus if you also have:

- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, industrial or technical sectors. \n
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software. \n
- Understanding of SEO and website analytics. \n
