Job Description
Job title: Air Conditioning Engineer - Maintenance ( No weekend work)
\nSalary: up to 58k
\nLocation: West London
\nMy client is looking for an Air conditioning engineer with F-gas qualifications maintains, and repairs air conditioning systems that use F-gas refrigerants. F-gases are fluorinated gases, such as HCFCs, HFCs, and CFCs. They are a nice, well run SME company.
\nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Maintain, and service air conditioning systems \n
- Recover, handle, and supply equipment containing F-gas refrigerants \n
- Check for leaks in stationary refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump equipment \n
- Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of systems including, Split systems, multi-split systems, VRV/VRF systems, Packaged units, AHUs and associated ventilation equipment \n
- Install new air conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications \n
- Commission newly installed equipment \n
- Carry out leak detection, refrigerant recovery and recharging in accordance with FGas, Regulations \n
- Replace compressors, fans, motors, expansion valves, PCB boards and other mechanical/electrical components \n
- Complete emergency reactive call-outs within agreed response times \n
- Perform electrical fault-finding associated with HVAC equipment \n
- Ensure all maintenance records, service sheets and commissioning documentation are completed accurately \n
- Produce clear reports identifying defects and recommended remedial works \n
- Liaise professionally with customers, clients and site representatives \n
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and specialist equipment in a clean and serviceable condition. \n
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation. \n
Qualifications

- F-gas qualification and certification \n
- Level 2 award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations - Category I \n
- NVQ Diploma in Installing, Testing and Maintaining Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems \n
