Air Conditioning Engineer

Job title: Air Conditioning Engineer - Maintenance ( No weekend work)

Salary: up to 58k

Location: West London

My client is looking for an Air conditioning engineer with F-gas qualifications maintains, and repairs air conditioning systems that use F-gas refrigerants. F-gases are fluorinated gases, such as HCFCs, HFCs, and CFCs. They are a nice, well run SME company.

Responsibilities

\n
• Maintain, and service air conditioning systems
\n
• Recover, handle, and supply equipment containing F-gas refrigerants
\n
• Check for leaks in stationary refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump equipment
\n
• Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of systems including, Split systems, multi-split systems, VRV/VRF systems, Packaged units, AHUs and associated ventilation equipment
\n
• Install new air conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications
\n
• Commission newly installed equipment
\n
• Carry out leak detection, refrigerant recovery and recharging in accordance with FGas, Regulations
\n
• Replace compressors, fans, motors, expansion valves, PCB boards and other mechanical/electrical components
\n
• Complete emergency reactive call-outs within agreed response times
\n
• Perform electrical fault-finding associated with HVAC equipment
\n
• Ensure all maintenance records, service sheets and commissioning documentation are completed accurately
\n
• Produce clear reports identifying defects and recommended remedial works
\n
• Liaise professionally with customers, clients and site representatives
\n
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and specialist equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation.

Qualifications

\n
• F-gas qualification and certification
\n
• Level 2 award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations - Category I
\n
• NVQ Diploma in Installing, Testing and Maintaining Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
