Accounts Assistant
\n\nLocation: South West London Full-time | Hybrid
\nAre you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking to join a supportive and fast-paced finance team? We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to play a key role in supporting our day-to-day finance operations.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in finance who enjoys working with numbers, building strong relationships and contributing to the smooth running of a busy accounts function.
\n\nAbout the Role
\nReporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team with a broad range of accounting and administrative duties, ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date.
\n\nKey Responsibilities

Processing sales and purchase invoices
\n - \n
Posting bank receipts, payments and other banking transactions
\n - \n
Reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts
\n - \n
Preparing supplier payment runs and remittance advice
\n - \n
Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders
\n - \n
Setting up new customers and suppliers, including credit checks where required
\n - \n
Supporting credit control activities, including customer statements and payment reminders
\n - \n
Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems
\n - \n
Assisting with month-end reconciliations and cash flow reporting
\n - \n
Producing ad-hoc finance reports and analysis
\n - \n
Handling finance-related enquiries from customers, suppliers and colleagues
\n - \n
Supporting the wider finance team with general administrative duties as required
\n
About You
\nWe're looking for someone who has:
\nAt least 2 years' experience in a similar finance or accounts role
\nExperience of:
\n- \n

Sales Ledger
\n - \n
Purchase Ledger
\n - \n
Bank reconciliations
\n - \n
Journals
\n - \n
Multi-currency transactions
\n
It would be an advantage if you also have:

- \n
AAT qualification (or are currently studying towards AAT)
\n - \n
Experience using Sage 200
\n - \n
Knowledge of Real Asset Management (RAM) software
\n
