Fabricator / WelderSalary Starting (£17.62), overtime availableCheshire West Oppourtunty for a Fabricator / Welder with hands-on Manufacturing Experience. Day Shift: Hours of work 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch each day) with a 3.30pm finish on a FridayThe Role: What You'll Be DoingAs a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the precise fabrication and welding of assemblies to a high standard of quality.Responsibilities:\n

- Perform high-quality MIG welding on assemblies, typically working with mild steel, 3mm – 20mm. \n
- Read and accurately interpret technical drawings, specification sheets, and weld symbols. \n
- Carry out precision measurements and accurately mark out materials for cutting and fabrication. \n
- Select the correct materials and be skilled in cutting materials using methods such as burning, disc cutting, or machine cutting. \n
- Utilise your skillset with various hand tools for assembly preparation and finishing. \n
- Maintain safety, adhere strictly to health and safety rules and regulations, and maintain excellent production area housekeeping. \n
- Work effectively, either individually or as part of a team, to meet demanding production targets and output quality. \n

- Proven hands-on manufacturing experience, ideally in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing. \n
- Demonstrable experience performing high-quality MIG welding and assembly. \n
- Proficiency in reading and working from technical drawings. \n
- Strong ability to maintain production target output and quality. \n
- Experience using various hand tools. \n
