Job Description
An excellent opportunity for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join a substantial and complex organisation based in Lincolnshire. This broad position offers exposure to domestic and international contracts, regulatory matters and wider business-critical legal work.
\n\nThe role would suit an experienced private practice lawyer making their first move in-house, or an existing in-house counsel looking for greater variety and commercial exposure.

\nDescription
\nThe Commercial Legal Counsel will be:
\n- \n
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts relating to the domestic and international purchase and sale of goods and services. \n
- Advising commercial, procurement and operational teams on contractual risk and practical solutions. \n
- Providing initial advice on employment, HR and litigation matters, instructing external counsel where specialist support is required. \n
- Supporting the business with environmental, regulatory and competition law matters. \n
- Developing legal templates, guidance and processes to help the wider business manage risk effectively. \n
Profile
\nThe Commercial Legal Counsel should be:
\n- \n
- A solicitor or equivalent with at 5 five years PQE. \n
- Experienced in drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts. \n
- Currently working in private practice or in-house. \n
- Experienced within manufacturing, engineering, industrial or other operational environments/clients. \n
- Comfortable supporting or coordinating advice across areas such as employment, litigation, environmental and regulatory law. \n
Job Offer
\nThe successful Commercial Legal Counsel will receive:

- A salary of £75,000-£85,000. \n
- A car allowance of £6,000. \n
- Hybrid working, with two days per week in the Lincolnshire office. \n
- 27 days' annual leave plus bank holidays. \n
