Production Cake Baker - Full Time

Location: Hadlow, Tonbridge

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts on an alternating day rota: 10am-7pm and 7am-4pm

Job Type: Temporary to permanent

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Production Cake Baker to join an established, award-winning wholesale bakery set in the beautiful Kent countryside.

This is an excellent opportunity for a baker who takes pride in producing high-quality, handmade cakes at volume. You'll be joining a passionate, creative and supportive team where consistency, care and attention to detail are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality cakes consistently, working to daily production targets

• Work efficiently and accurately in a busy production bakery environment
\n
• Follow recipes, methods and production processes to maintain excellent quality and consistency
\n
• Support the wider baking team with a positive, hands-on approach
\n
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, accuracy, food safety and presentation
\n

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in cake baking, pastry baking or a similar production bakery role
\n
• A genuine passion for baking, with strong attention to detail
\n
• A team-focused attitude and willingness to support others
\n
• Confidence working to deadlines in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
\n
• Reliability, organisation and a proactive "can-do" attitude
