HGV Truck Washing Operative

My market-leading client, based in the Lymm, Warrington area, is currently looking to recruit an HGV Wash Operative to join their friendly and established team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Basic Salary: £31,365Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:00 PLUS Working 1 in 2 Saturdays 07:00 – 11:30

Responsibilities:

\n
• Greeting and welcoming customers in a polite and professional manner.
\n
• Working as part of a team to ensure all vehicles are cleaned to a high standard.
\n
• Operating wash equipment including brushes, soaps and pressure lances.
\n
• Running and monitoring vehicle wash machines.
\n
• Directing traffic around the site to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
\n
• Assisting with site closing procedures, including equipment shutdown and preparation for adverse weather conditions.
\n
• Carrying out general site maintenance duties, including litter collection, emptying bins and ensuring communal areas remain clean and tidy.
\n
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and site presentation at all times.
\n
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
\n
