Working alongside experienced solicitors, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support across a varied caseload involving agricultural land, rural estates, farms, commercial property, and private clients. This role would suit an organised, proactive Legal Secretary looking to develop their career within a specialist area of law.The Role As an Agricultural Legal Secretary, your responsibilities will include:\n

- Preparing, formatting and proofreading legal documents, contracts and correspondence. \n
- Audio typing and producing accurate legal documentation. \n
- Managing case files from opening through to completion. \n
- Maintaining electronic records and legal databases. \n
- Diary management, scheduling appointments and coordinating client meetings. \n
- Liaising professionally with clients, land agents, surveyors, accountants and other third parties. \n
- Assisting with completion statements, billing, accounts queries and financial postings. \n
- Monitoring key dates, compliance requirements and legal deadlines. \n
- Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the department. \n
- \n
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary within a Property, Residential Conveyancing, Commercial Property, or Agricultural Property department. \n
- Excellent typing, audio typing and document production skills. \n
- Strong organisational abilities with exceptional attention to detail. \n
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a busy legal environment. \n
- Outstanding communication and client care skills. \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems. \n
- A professional, reliable and confidential approach to your work. \n
- An interest in agricultural law, rural business or property law, with a willingness to develop specialist knowledge. \n

- Experience using the LEAP Case Management System. \n
- A Legal Secretarial qualification or equivalent administrative qualification. \n
- Previous experience supporting agricultural or rural property solicitors. \n
