As a Interim Supply Chain Category Lead in Leeds, you'll take the reins on managing procurement categories within Transport & Supply Chain, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. This role is all about driving value and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support the business.

\nThis role will be working for an organisation who are going through an exciting part of change & growth, who are looking to ensure their supply chain processes are streamlined & cost efficient. This role will be working in Leeds 3 days per week onsite, however, expenses will be paid.
\nDescription
\nAs Interim Supply Chain Category Lead, duties will include, however, not be limited to:

- Develop and implement category strategies to optimise supply chain performance. \n
- Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. \n
- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals. \n
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms. \n
- Monitor category performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. \n
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations. \n
- Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making within the procurement and supply chain department. \n
Profile
\nA successful Interim Supply Chain Category Lead should have:

- Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management within the supply chain & transport categories. \n
- Strong negotiation and communication skills. \n
- Ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities. \n
- Experience in managing supplier relationships effectively. \n
- Ability to work at pace in an ever changing business! \n
Job Offer

- Daily rate of over £600 + expenses, dependent on the level of experience. \n
- Yorkshire based role working 3 days per week onsite. \n
