MS698 - Fitter & Assembler Salary: £27,040 - £31,200 per annum DOE Location: AylesburyShifts:Monday – Friday: 6am - 2pm, ORMonday – Wednesday 1.30pm – 11.30pm, Thursday 1.30pm – 11.00pmOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Fitter on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities:

• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
\n
• A meticulous approach to fitting and assembly work, ensuring high standards of precision.
\n
• Carrying out fitting and assembly work as directed by the Team Leader.
\n
• Adhering to working instructions provided by engineers, project managers and supervisors.
\n
• Ensuring strict compliance with all health & safety requirements and protocols.
\n
• Participating in quality control processes to maintain the highest standard of products.
\n
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects, offering valuable insights and ideas.
\n
• Working diligently to maintain a high standard of manufacturing output.
\n
• Carry out production duties as directed by Team Leader.
\n
• To assist in any production area / duty when required.
\n
• Production plant, machinery and equipment.
\n
• Look after the company’s interests at all times.
\n
• Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business.
\n
• Ensure that the company’s procedures are followed.
\n
• Maintain good housekeeping practices.
\n

Skills and Qualifications:

\n
• You must have worked for a minimum of 2 years within a manufacturing industry.
\n
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude with good attention to detail.
\n
• The ability to solve problems, work under pressure and prioritise.
\n
• Must be able to work under your own initiative, but also to work as part of a team.
\n
• The ability to read engineering drawings, mainly third angle projection drawings.
\n
