\nThe Role:
\nExpress Solicitors is currently looking to appoint a Data Analyst reporting directly into the Head of Department. Any experience working with within a Legal environment and Proclaim case management system will be a distinct advantage.
\nThe role's focus will be to provide support to the business in the production of business information reports, both through fixed MI channels and ad hoc reporting requests by designing and writing efficient queries to extract, analyse, and present information from various data sources.
\nResponsibilities:
\n- \n
- Development, production and distribution of reports and dashboards to our clients within service level agreements. \n
- Contribute to the development of data strategy. \n
- Collaborate with different departments to gather requirements on MI needs then produce reports, with focus on accuracy, integrity and relevance. \n
- Pro-active approach to analysing produced data to provide actionable insights. \n
- Provide support to assist in the interpretation of reports, dashboards, and insights. \n
- Interrogation of various databases using SQL and T-SQL and other common query languages. \n
Person Specification:
\nEssential:
\n- \n
- Experience of dealing with data within a commercial organisation. \n
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. \n
- Being able to learn, adapt and work within in a fast-paced environment. \n
- Develop relationships with stakeholders. \n
- Experience extracting, analysing, converting and presenting data through the Power BI platform. \n
- Proficient with IT. \n
- Excellent SQL query writing skills. \n
- Excellent organisation and time management skills. \n
Preferred:
\n- \n
- Completion of a relevant degree is desirable. \n
- Knowledge of coding in Python or similar coding languages is desirable \n
Salary & Hours:
\n- \n
- Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 \n
- Our standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday. \n
