Streetworks Permit Coordinator
\nLocation: Merseyside (Office-based) Full-time 40 hours | Permanent | (8am to 5pm - 1 hour lunch)
\nAbout the Role
\nOur client is looking for a Streetworks Permit Coordinator to join their operations team. This is a key administrative position responsible for coordinating streetworks permits and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry requirements.
\nYou will act as a central point of contact for all office-based streetworks activities, supporting operational teams and liaising with local authorities and clients to ensure works are delivered efficiently and compliantly.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Act as a focal point for all office-based streetworks activities, providing support and guidance across the business \n
- Prepare and submit permit applications, including start, stop, and registration notices (R1) \n
- Respond to highway authorities and client queries within required timescales to avoid fines and penalties \n
- Manage permit modification requests, duration challenges, and other compliance-related communications \n
- Run and review daily jeopardy and compliance reports (e.g. notices due, registrations due, works in progress) \n
- Investigate and assist in responding to Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and overrun charges \n
- Update internal systems with accurate permit and project information \n
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, and internal teams regarding streetworks activity \n
- Support the wider compliance team with data and reporting requirements \n
- Assist other business areas when required, including covering absences \n

- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) \n
Desirable:
\n- \n
- Knowledge or experience of streetworks legislation (e.g. NRSWA / TMA) \n
- Experience using streetworks systems such as Street Manager or Symology Aurora \n
- Previous experience working within utilities, highways, or infrastructure environments \n
