Job Description
Responsible for the management of maintenance and materials planning requirements and theproduction of line and base maintenance work packs. Review of maintenance work packs completionprior to aircraft departure and updating the MIS as required.Main responsibilities
\nFollow the company procedures in order to ensure compliance. Liaise with the Maintenance Team and other key departments to ensure a commonunderstanding of maintenance capability and capacity. Enter technical log utilisation data onto the MIS. Review of allocated aircraft maintenance status to ensure compliance with the approvedmaintenance programme. Preparation and review of maintenance variations. Identify provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft based on projected utilisationand keep up to date the in-house maintenance planning calendar. Review material requirements against provisional maintenance dates for allocated aircraft. Raise reservations/purchase requisitions for required materials. Issue 'Short Term Maintenance Items' forecast for each aircraft. Reset Maintenance tasks on the MIS. Provide cross functional support across the CAMO team. Continually improve the airworthiness processes & procedures to enhance overall efficiencyof the Planning department. Perform other duties as required by the Maintenance Planning Supervisor, ContinuingAirworthiness Manager or designated deputy.Knowledge and SkillsEssential Good understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and material planning requirements asrelated to Part CAMO / A8-25 & Part 145 / A8-23. Methodical with acute attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work without supervision or as part of a team. Flexible work ethic focused on delivering against agreed timelines. Proactive - ability to recognise potential issues and apply remedial action before they raiseconcern or affect operations. Must have high computer literacy skills and be competent with Google Suite applications. Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation. Good written and verbal communication skills.Desirable Knowledge of continuing airworthiness management software for the use of maintenanceand materials planning. Knowledge of Airbus Helicopters Products and their technical documentation.Education, Qualifications or TrainingEssential Minimum 5 GCSE's Grade C or above or equivalent recognised qualifications (e.g. NVQ,BTEC).Desirable Aviation related degree or equivalent.
