Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Dunstable, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a busy team within a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing warehouse efficiency, maintaining high health and safety standards, and supporting the continued development and automation of warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities for a Warehouse Manager:

• Managing and leading a team of 6 permanent warehouse staff and up to 30 temporary workers during peak periods
\n
• Overseeing daily warehouse operations including goods in, dispatch, and stock control
\n
• Driving improvements in warehouse processes, including introducing greater automation and efficiencies
\n
• Ensuring high standards of health & safety are maintained across the warehouse
\n
• Monitoring productivity and performance across the team
\n
• Coordinating staffing levels to meet operational demand
\n
• Working closely with senior management to support operational improvements
\n

Key Skills for a Warehouse Manager:

\n
• Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role
\n
• Experience managing both permanent and temporary warehouse teams
\n
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock management
\n
• Health & safety aware with the ability to maintain a safe working environment
\n
• Experience implementing process improvements or warehouse automation
\n
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
\n
