Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate will have experience working within the manufacturing industry, in a fast-paced procurement role, dealing with many suppliers and commodities.The role focuses on direct purchasing, covering a wide range of commodities including films, foams, tapes, clips, coatings, stampings, fasteners, fixings and surface treatments.BuyerPermanentSalary dependent on experienceMonday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 2pmMinworth – Site basedBuyerJob Description\n

• Day to day commercial management of the supplier base
\n
• Negotiate prices and contract terms
\n
• Manage RFQ to SOP, including NPI
\n
• Manage supplier delivery issues /negotiate claims
\n

BuyerEssential Skills/Experience/Qualifications\n

\n
• Previously worked within the manufacturing industry, automotive is highly desirable
\n
• Well versed working in a Buyer role or similar
\n
• Experienced working within a fast-paced environment
\n
