Interim Finance Analyst

Location: Rochdale (Hybrid)Contract: 9-Month Fixed-Term Contract

An established manufacturing business is looking to appoint an Interim Finance Analyst to support its operations team during a key period of growth and transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with operational stakeholders, analysing performance data and driving process improvements in a fast-paced production environment.

Reporting into the Site Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and providing commercial insight to improve operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce weekly and monthly operational performance reports, including production variances, yields and overhead analysis.
\n
• Partner with manufacturing, planning and supply chain teams to improve financial awareness and decision-making.
\n
• Investigate production and cost variances, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
\n
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of production, inventory and financial data across multiple systems.
\n
• Support month-end activities, including reconciliations, accruals and reporting.
\n
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n
• Drive stronger financial controls and support process optimisation across the site.
\n

• (CIMA/ACCA)
\n
• Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG or another fast-paced operational environment.
\n
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel knowledge.
\n
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
\n
• Confident building relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
\n
• Proactive, inquisitive and comfortable challenging processes to improve performance.
\n
