The Role

\n

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service within a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for processing customer orders, resolving queries, and supporting key account activities to ensure a seamless experience for trade customers. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

\n

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

\n

Handle incoming and outgoing calls to support customer needs

\n

Manage backorders and delays, keeping customers informed

\n

Respond to queries via the CRM system and maintain accurate case updates

\n

Assist the wider team with complex investigations and escalations

\n

Handle customer complaints and aftersales issues promptly

\n

Process payments and replacement orders where required

\n

Liaise with internal teams to resolve service issues

\n

Make cost-effective decisions for customer resolutions under guidance

\n

Support upselling and quote follow-ups

\n

Inspect returned goods for credit when necessary

\n

Work towards achieving KPIs and departmental objectives

\n

What We’re Looking For

Passion for delivering excellent customer service

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts

\n

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

\n

Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment

\n

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)

\n

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

\n

Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role

\n

Experience in customer service or administration

\n

GCSE level education or above

\n

Strong organisational and time management skills

\n
