Job Description:

Recruit UK are working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing Independent Financial Advice firm within our Nationwide client.

The purpose of this role is to work closely with Financial Planners to deliver a high-quality, compliant, and professional service to clients. You will play a key role in supporting the advice process by conducting research, producing suitability reports, and ensuring all recommendations meet regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Financial Planners to understand client objectives and assist Financial Services Administrators in gathering required information
\n
• Assist in identifying financial planning opportunities and sourcing suitable solutions, including preparation of tax calculations where required
\n
• Ensure all required compliance documentation is present and correct prior to submission of suitability reports
\n
• Prepare suitability reports and recommendations for Financial Planner approval in line with company policy
\n
• Prepare associated client documentation and ensure signed declarations and authorisations are in place prior to any transactions
\n

Skills and Experience Required:

\n
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Paraplanning role within an Independent Financial Adviser
\n
• DipPFS qualified or equivalent Level 4 qualification
\n
• Experience working across a broad range of financial products
\n
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end financial planning process
\n
