Payroll Senior

LGS Vision Recruitment are supporting a forward-thinking firm of accountants in the City of London a short walk from Liverpool Street & Fenchurch Street with a Payroll Senior position.

As a Payroll Senior, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of Payroll clients. Delivering accurate and timely payroll services to a wide range of clients across multiple sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast pace environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting an portfolio of client payrolls up to 270 (largest payroll is 90 employees), ensuring accuracy and compliance
\n
• Auto-enrolment/pension scheme experience (NEST, Smart Pension, People's Pension)
\n
• Handling payroll queries and providing excellent client service
\n
• Supporting senior team members with complex payroll matters
\n
• Ensuring all payroll deadlines are met
\n
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and best practice
\n

About You

\n
• Experience with BrightPay (or similar multi-client payroll software)
\n
• Exposure to workflow/practice management tools (Karbon or similar) is a plus
\n
• Experience managing a multi-client caseload (bureau or practice background, not just single-employer in-house payroll)
\n
• Comfortable being the direct point of contact for client queries (not just processing in the background)
\n
• Experience scoping/onboarding new payroll clients
\n
• Experience identifying and advising on payroll issues beyond pure processing (e.g. salary sacrifice, NI categories, benefits in kind)
\n
• Good deadline management
\n

Package

• Starting salary up to £40,000 - £45,000
\n
