- Produce 3D CAD designs for assemblies including sheet metal, plastics, piping systems, and electrical harnesses \n
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation \n
- Develop new product concepts and technical design solutions \n
- Carry out design calculations, analysis, and technical reporting \n
- Maintain and update documentation within the PDM system \n
- Support Bills of Materials (BOMs), manuals, and specifications \n
- Collaborate with Production to resolve design and build issues \n
- Liaise with Quality on non-conformances and design improvements \n
- Work with suppliers, particularly sheet metal manufacturers, on technical requirements \n
- Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities \n

- Proven experience in a Design Engineer role (or similar) \n
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks \n
- Knowledge of sheet metal design (essential) \n
- Experience within manufacturing or product development environments \n
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills \n
- Ability to manage workload independently and work as part of a team \n
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills \n
