Base Salary to £35,000 OTE £50,000 +

Hybrid - South West London

Our client is an award-winning tour operator with a focus on high end travel selling bespoke trips to Asia and Australasia.

They are now seeking to recruit a Travel Sales Consultant to join their team who extensive product knowledge of Asia - China, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, India and Australasia - Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia.

Candidates must have previous bespoke tailor-made travel experience gained working with a luxury tour operator with a vested interest in the region with the ability to deal with a booking from enquiry through to final documentation.

Excellent presentation, communication (verbal and written), attention to detail, sales skills and destination knowledge is essential.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis - South West London.

Travel Sales Consultant Responsibilities:

• Dealing with client enquiries by phone and email.
\n
• Use your own previous experience, destination knowledge to establish the clients' requirements and to recommend the correct programme for their needs.
\n
• Creating and booking all aspects of travel for your customers including flights, private charters, hotels, tours and more.
\n
• Working with the product team and assisting in the development of their Asia and Australasia product portfolio
\n
• Providing a consultative service whilst meeting and exceeding sales targets
\n

Travel Sales Consultant Experience Required:

\n
• Previous sales experience within the travel industry or sales experience with personal travel experience within the region
\n
• Exceptional product knowledge of the Asia and Australasia region through sales or personal travel
\n
• Ability to develop rapport at all levels with clients
\n
• Proven track record in meeting sales targets whilst delivering high levels of customer service
\n

Travel Sales Consultant Salary and Benefits:

• Base Salary circa range from £30,000 to £35,000 based on exprience
\n
• Lucrative bonus scheme based on performance OTE £50,000
\n
• 23 days annual leave rising to 30 days for every one year of full service + bank holidays
