Job Description
Our client, a leading logistics Company are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to contribute to both new business targets and growth from existing customers in the West London and surrounding area.

\nStarting salary of £55,000 plus bonus (15%-20% of salary, uncapped). OTE £66,000. Home working with company car.
\nBusiness Development Manager duties to include:-
\n- \n
- Identify additional opportunities within existing trading customers \n
- Identify new business opportunities within the territory \n
- Make own appointments via telephone, email or face to face and attend a minimum of 40 new business and relevant base customer appointments per month \n
- Understand customer requirements in order to sell appropriate services \n
- Negotiate internal and external pricing within region \n
- Use CRM to maintain accurate client records and schedule follow-ups \n
- Work on a substantial pipeline highlighting areas of opportunity and producing reports ac \n
- Account manage new customers ensuring long term retention and development of the business \n
- Conduct a weekly debrief with the depot team members outlining all activity and customer feedback \n
- Present a monthly and quarterly review of activity and business gained to management team \n
- Exceed set KPI’s and targets \n
- Ensure all documentation is received and logged \n
The Business Development Manager will have:-
\n- \n
- Proven track record in a target driven business development/sales role is essential. \n
- Experience in a logistics or related industry is highly desirable. \n
- Good level of education, including maths and English. \n
- Ability to present to senior clients using Microsoft PowerPoint. \n
- Strong ability to identify commercial requirements and use initiative to meet objectives \n
- Excellent communication skills. \n
- Strong IT skills. \n
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to analyse information. \n
- Resilient and persistent nature/ \n
- Self motivated, proactive approach. \n
- Ability to close sales. \n
- Passion for new business development and cold calling. \n
