\nDue to continued expansion we're recruiting a Mechanical Technician to join a well-established engineering team working on specialist subsea equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys assembly, testing, and problem-solving in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
\nWhat's on Offer?
\n37-hour working week
\nMonday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
\nFriday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
\nFlexible working hours available
\n25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

\nExcellent overtime rates:

- Time and a half Monday to Saturday \n
- Double time on Sundays \n
- Overtime paid after 37 hours worked \n
The Role
\nAs a Mechanical Technician, you'll be involved in the assembly, testing, and commissioning of advanced mechanical and hydraulic equipment used in demanding subsea environments.
\nKey responsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Assembling mechanical and hydraulic components, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies \n
- Mechanical assembly and load testing of subsea products \n
- Manufacturing and testing hydraulic hoses and pipework \n
- Pressure testing, setup, and functional testing of a wide range of tooling and assemblies \n
- Working closely with other departments to ensure quality standards and project deadlines are achieved \n
- Completing all relevant documentation, including quality records, timesheets, NCRs, and ECNs \n
About You
\nWe're keen to hear from candidates who have:
\n- \n
- A background in mechanical assembly, fitting, or maintenance \n
- Experience as an automotive mechanic, vehicle technician, or similar hands-on engineering role \n
- A solid understanding of mechanical engineering practices and assembly techniques \n
- Completed a mechanical apprenticeship or have equivalent shop-floor engineering experience \n
- A strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detail \n
