General Assembler

£13.50 - £14.00 per hour | Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week

Our client, a well-established engineering company in the HVAC sector, is looking for a General Assembler to join their production team. This is a hands-on role assembling high-quality air curtains.

Hours:

\n
• Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
\n
• Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm
\n
• Overtime paid at enhanced rates when required.
\n

Responsibilities

\n
• Mechanical and electrical assembly of air curtains.
\n
• Use hand and air tools safely and effectively.
\n
• Test and inspect finished products.
\n
• Report quality issues and carry out remedial work where required.
\n
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and Health & Safety.
\n
• Support other production areas when needed.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.
\n
• Experience using hand tools.
\n
• Electrical assembly experience or qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ) desirable.
\n
• FLT licence advantageous.
\n
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
\n
