Job Description

NLB Solutions are working with a subsidiary of a large business based in Watford to recruit for a new member of the team that will join as a Finance Assistant. This role is suitable for someone that has graduated with a accountancy related degree or has started their AAT studies and is keen to develop in the future to doing management accounts. This is going to be part of a team of 5 and report in to the Head of Finance.

The business offer study support and a really supportive team that will offer a nurturing environment for the person. The right person will have drive and ambition and a desire to become a management accountant within this business.

Duties:

  • Raise invoices and credit notes
  • \n
  • Produce premium collection reports
  • \n
  • Process and record refunds
  • \n
  • Collate and distribute broker commission statements
  • \n
  • Clear triage queries
  • \n
  • Reply to premium receipt queries
  • \n
  • Respond to client/broker queries
  • \n
  • Assist with credit control
  • \n
  • Assist with weekly direct debit collection file and upload to BACS system
  • \n
  • Assist with recording BACS receipts on Salesforce
  • \n
  • Assist with direct debit failures
  • \n
  • Produce analysis to aid clients’ P11D calculations
  • \n
  • Recommend and implement process & procedure improvements to make sure everything is running in an efficient and timely manner
  • \n
  • Adherence to compliance processes and regulatory requirements including but not limited to the identification and support of vulnerable customers
  • \n
  • Have a basic knowledge of other departments’ processes
  • \n
  • Undertake general office duties from time to time when required
  • \n
