Management Accountant

Redditch | £40,000 - £45,000 + Study Support | Full-Time, Permanent

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working closely with the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations and strategic decision-making.

• Prepare and produce accurate financial reports and management accounts.
\n
• Analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights to support business growth.
\n
• Monitor and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures.
\n
• Oversee the preparation of income statements and other financial reports.
\n
• Manage day-to-day financial transactions and reconciliations.
\n
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
\n
• Evaluate financial risks and support risk management activities.
\n
• Assist with internal and external audit processes.
\n
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and external stakeholders.
\n
• Support wider business projects and operational initiatives as required.
\n

\n
• AAT Qualified, Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
\n
• Previous experience within a Management Accountant position, ideally with at least 1-2 years' experience.
\n
• Manufacturing sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
\n
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
\n
• Experience using Sage would be beneficial.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the business.
\n
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
\n
