Position: Buying Administrators
\nSalary: £12.99 p/h
\nContract: Temporary - until end of Sept. Could be extended
\nLocation: Coventry CV7 - Hybrid – 2 days in office max
\nWorking Shifts: Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week, 9-5pm

\nOur client is looking for a Buying Admin Assistant, to help support the Buying team.
\nAdministrative Assistant duties include:
\n- \n
- Provide full administrative support to the existing Buying Administrator and wider buying team \n
- Assist with promo setup, ensuring all promotional data is accurate and uploaded on time \n
- Maintain and update sample trackers \n
- Keep accurate logs of deadlines and key milestones \n
- Attend weekly check-in meetings to ensure tasks are on track \n
- Complete PI (Product Information) checks, including images and product details \n
- Cross-check documents against each other for accuracy and consistency \n
- Approve artwork following internal checks \n
- Manage COSHH information and catalogue (CAT) numbers \n
- Update mainframes and internal systems with new supplier, product, and range information \n
- Carry out product amendments, clearance activity, and canvassing tasks \n
- Work on tile/range imagery — ensuring the right images are placed in the correct templates or boxes \n
- Coordinate product and image information so it is well-presented in Excel \n
- Use creativity to enhance product presentation and layout \n
- Conduct light market observation to identify what competitors are doing differently \n
Administrative Assistant person specification:
\nEssential-

- Confident communicator \n
- Buying Admin Experience or someone with a creative flare (design, or fashion) \n
- High attention to detail skills is vital \n
- Be able to work in a VERY fast paced environment \n
- Previous admin experience essential \n
- Intermediate Excel skills (Vlookups) \n
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, good memory, and full task ownership without relying on others \n
- Be quick to learn new systems and processes \n
Important Information
\nThis role is a fixed-term temporary position until September. Candidates must be able to commit for the full duration. Unfortunately, this position is not suitable for those seeking ad-hoc, week-to-week work.
