We're recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a quality-focused manufacturing team where you'll be inspecting high-reliability electronic assemblies in a clean, modern production environment. As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring electronic components, PCB assemblies & finished products meet customer specifications and the highest quality standards.

You'll be responsible for:

\n
• Carrying out visual & functional inspections of electronic assemblies, PCBAs & finished products
\n
• Performing first-off, in-process & final inspections
\n
• Identifying defects including soldering faults, component placement errors & wiring discrepancies
\n
• Reading engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs & work instructions
\n
• Using inspection microscopes, vernier callipers & electronic test equipment
\n
• Recording inspection results & maintaining accurate quality documentation
\n
• Raising non-conformance reports (NCRs) where required
\n
• Supporting root cause investigations & corrective actions
\n
• Working closely with Production, Engineering & Quality teams
\n
• Maintaining high housekeeping & health & safety standards
\n

To be successful in this Quality Inspector role in Waterlooville, Hampshire, you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or quality inspection
\n
• Experience inspecting PCB assemblies & electronic components
\n
• Ability to read engineering drawings & schematics
\n
• Strong attention to detail & a methodical approach
\n
• Experience using microscopes, measuring equipment & electronic test equipment
\n
• IPC-A-610 certification (advantageous)
\n
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems (desirable)
\n
• A positive attitude & strong team-working skills
\n
