Registered Manager – Therapeutic Children's Home Kidderminster Shropshire DY14

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our 2-bed therapeutic children's home, supporting children with complex emotional, behavioural difficulties. This is an opportunity to build a home where children feel safe, understood, and empowered to thrive.

The Role of Registered Manager

You will:

• Lead the Ofsted registration and successful opening of the home.
\n
• Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing staff team.
\n
• Create a therapeutic, trauma-informed culture where children feel safe and supported.
\n
• Lead safeguarding, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
\n
• Drive Good and Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
\n
• Build strong partnerships with families, local authorities and professionals.
\n
• Develop a positive team culture built on accountability, compassion and high expectations.
\n

Registered Manager Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
\n
• Experience managing within an Ofsted-regulated children's home.
\n
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice and therapeutic care.
\n
• A proven track record of achieving or contributing to Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
\n
• The resilience, emotional intelligence and leadership skills to build and inspire a successful team.
\n
• A Full UK Driving Licence.
\n

• £50,000–£55,000 salary depending on experience.
