Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP)

????Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking a day-time AMHP.

The role will last 3 months initially.

Paid at £40 per hour (umbrella).

Re-warranting is available for the right candidate.

The role will involve the following:

• Working as an AMHP with Leicester City's Core AMHP Team,
\n
• Day-time role
\n
• Taking part in a duty AMHP rota as initial point of contact for people making referrals
\n
• Considering MHA requests
\n
• Setting up and carrying out MHA assessments in a variety of settings
\n
• Completing associated reports and paperwork.
\n
• May also be required to write and present tribunal report.
\n
• Full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
\n
• May be working either of the below shifts so ideally need to be flexible based on needs of the service and can work later:08:30 - 17:0012:00 - 20:00
\n
• Working arrangements: hybrid and flexible, they have 1 day per week where everyone is in and this changes between Friday and Monday.
\n
• Candidates will do some travelling so need to be a driver.
\n
• Would re-warrant a suitable candidate
\n

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
\n
• Fully Social Work England registered
\n
• Must be a qualified AMHP
\n
• Must have minimum 1 year experience as an AMHP
\n
