Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or Master Technician on behalf of a well-established automotive dealership located in Colindale, North West London. • Competitive basic salary ranging from £38,000 to £45,000 per annum plus bonus and paid overtime on Saturday mornings (1-in-3 rota), with uncapped OTE exceeding £50,000 for Diagnostic Technicians.

Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:\n

• Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
\n
• Perform diagnostics to identify vehicle faults and develop accurate repair recommendations.
\n
• Conduct electronic visual health checks on all vehicles and prepare detailed reports with customer advice.
\n
• Effectively liaise with customers and service advisors to ensure excellent customer experience.
\n
• Execute repairs and servicing to high standards, adhering to safety protocols.
\n
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain and enhance technical skills.
\n
• Contribute to process improvements at local and company levels.
\n
• Mentor apprentices and provide technical guidance to team members.
\n

Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:\n

• Level 3 qualified vehicle technician with a full UK driving licence.
\n
• Proven experience in diagnostic procedures and vehicle servicing.
\n
• MOT Tester certification is advantageous but not essential.
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
\n
• Organised with excellent time management capabilities.
\n
• Customer-focused approach, able to explain technical issues clearly.
\n
• Ability to work efficiently within set deadlines as the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician.
\n
• Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality vehicle repairs and advancing within a reputable dealership.
