AVP- Loans Agency, Transaction Manager

A highly respected global bank is looking for an AVP to join the team! This role is perfect for candiated with a background in syndicated or agency loan operations with hands-on exposure to complex transaction processing requirements, as well as familiarity with LMA/ LSTA loan documentation standards.

Salary: £65-75k base

• Manage and support the end-to-end processing of syndicated loan transactions across a portfolio of agency deals.
\n
• Oversee lifecycle events including amendments, waivers, drawdowns, repayments, interest events, covenant monitoring (including ESG), collateral monitoring, security trustee duties and borrowing base maintenance.
\n
• Ensure all transactions are processed in line with facility documentation, LMA/LSTA standards, internal policies and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Act as a key point of contact for borrowers, lenders, legal counsel, Front Office and internal stakeholders.
\n
• Review and verify work completed by colleagues to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance.
\n
• Support daily workflow management and assist with prioritisation of operational tasks.
\n
• Escalate issues and support resolution of complex transaction queries.
\n
• Contribute to process improvements, policy updates and implementation of change initiatives.
\n
• Support project work and operational change across the team.
\n
• Provide subject matter expertise on agency loan transactions to colleagues and stakeholders.
\n

We are looking for an experienced Agency or Syndicated Loan Operations professional with strong exposure to transaction processing.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in Agency Loans or Syndicated Loan Operations.
\n
• Hands-on experience processing complex loan transactions across the full lifecycle.
\n
• Strong understanding of the syndicated loan lifecycle and facility documentation.
\n
• Experience working with LMA and/or LSTA documentation standards.
\n
• Experience interacting directly with lenders, borrowers and external legal counsel.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
\n
• Ability to work accurately under pressure in a time-sensitive environment.
\n
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
\n
• Experience with LoanIQ and/or DebtDomain is advantageous.
