Immigration Assistant
Job Description
An established professional services organisation is seeking an Immigration Assistant to join its Immigration team on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract with strong potential for permanence. The role will support experienced immigration advisers with a broad range of business and private client immigration matters while providing excellent career development opportunities.

The Immigration team forms part of a wider Employment, Mobility and Pensions practice and advises clients on a full range of UK immigration matters.
\nDescription

- Supporting immigration advisers and senior team members with active client matters. \n
- Preparing Certificates of Sponsorship and managing updates through online sponsorship systems. \n
- Assisting with sponsor licence and visa application preparation. \n
- Uploading and organising supporting documentation for applications. \n
- Liaising with government authorities regarding queries, appointments and priority services. \n
- Communicating with clients to gather information and support application preparation. \n
- Maintaining immigration databases and tracking visa and sponsor licence information. \n
- Conducting legal and regulatory research and providing wider administrative support to the team. \n
Profile
\n- \n
- Previous immigration experience is advantageous but not essential. \n
- Degree educated or possessing equivalent relevant experience. \n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. \n
- Excellent written, analytical and communication skills. \n
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. \n
- Proactive, enthusiastic and keen to develop a career in immigration law. \n
- Client-focused with a collaborative approach to working within a team. \n
