Job Description

Kenneth Brian Associates is working with a rapidly growing company in this newly created role to recruit a FP&A Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As the FP&A Manager you will partner with operations, sales, and external stakeholders to ensure robust financial and commercial management of high-value, long-term projects.

The main responsibilities the position entails are:

Financial Planning & Forecasting

\n

  • Lead the annual budgeting process across departments
  • \n
  • Own and continuously improve the budget and forecast model
  • \n
  • Develop scenario modelling and long-term planning (3–5 year outlook)
  • \n
  • Challenge assumptions to ensure robust and realistic projections
  • \n
\n

Management Reporting & Analysis

\n
    \n
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting with clear insights and commentary
  • \n
  • Analyse variances (budget vs actual vs forecast) and identify trends
  • \n
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve performance
  • \n
  • Develop KPI dashboards and enhance reporting capability
  • \n
\n

Financial Modelling

  • Build and maintain robust financial models (e.g. investment appraisals, ROI analysis)
  • \n
  • Support M&A or capital investment analysis where applicable
  • \n
  • Deliver scenario analysis to inform strategic decision-making
  • \n
\n

Process Improvement

  • Improve existing planning and reporting processes
  • \n
  • Enhance use of systems, automation, and data tools
  • \n
\n

Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualification
  • \n
  • Strong FP&A / commercial finance experience
  • \n
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • \n
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering
  • \n
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • \n
  • Ability to communicate financial insight clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • \n
