An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded and proactive Buyer to join a growing organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building supplier relationships, and identifying opportunities within a global marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure components to support stock levels and customer demand
\n
• Research markets to identify purchasing opportunities and alternative suppliers
\n
• Obtain and assess quotations, negotiating competitive pricing and terms
\n
• Monitor stock levels, demand trends, and market activity
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
\n
• Track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
\n
• Maintain accurate supplier records and documentation
\n
• Update internal systems with pricing, quotations, and market insights
\n
• Work closely with internal teams to support business needs and maximise profitability
\n
• Analyse purchasing data to improve sourcing strategies and supplier performance
\n

Skills & Experience

\n
• Strong commercial awareness, ideally within procurement or supply chain
\n
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
\n
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach
\n
• Good negotiation skills
\n
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
\n
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
\n
• Experience using ERP or inventory systems
\n
• Ability to analyse data, trends, and pricing
\n
