Parts Assistant / Counter Sales Advisor

Warwickshire£30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Benefits

Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm / Every other Saturday 8.30am - 1pm

A well-established supplier of agricultural and land-based equipment is looking to recruit a Parts Assistant / Counter Sales Advisor to support its busy parts department.

This is a customer-focused role that would suit someone with experience in parts, stores, trade counter sales, or machinery-related environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customers receive the right products while helping maintain the smooth day-to-day operation of the parts function.

The Role

Reporting into the Parts Department, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with parts enquiries both over the phone and in person
\n
• Processing orders and ensuring parts are supplied accurately and efficiently
\n
• Managing goods received and dispatched
\n
• Maintaining stock records and supporting inventory control processes
\n
• Identifying opportunities to maximise parts sales and customer satisfaction
\n
• Working closely with workshop and service teams to fulfil internal requirements
\n
• Ensuring the parts department remains organised, compliant, and customer-focused
\n

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

\n
• Experience within a parts, stores, trade counter, customer service, or sales environment
\n
• Good IT skills and confidence using computer-based stock systems
\n
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
\n
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
\n
• The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
\n
• A full UK driving licence
\n

Knowledge of agricultural, plant, automotive, commercial vehicle, or machinery sectors would be beneficial but is not essential, as training can be provided.
