Social Worker - Duty Team - Adult Social Care - Leicestershire County Council

Our client, Leicestershire County Council, is seeking a Social Worker for its newly-formed Duty team in Adult Social Care.

The role is likely to last up to 12 months.

Paid at £34 per hour (umbrella).

The role will involve the following:

• Undertaking a specialist duty role
\n
• Taking the duty function out of the community / case management teams and turning it into a focused role
\n
• Triage, risk assessment, threshold decisions, signposting etc.
\n
• Covering the Charnwood area
\n
• Working with older adults or adults with learning or physical disabilities or mental health conditions etc. – excellent opportunity to upskill
\n
• Predominantly office-based role
\n

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
\n
• Fully Social Work England registered
\n
• Must have significant post-qualified experience in adult social care
\n
• Must be able to travel to the Charnwood area easily and attend the County Hall office site (LE3 8RA) most of the week
\n
