Family Lawyer – Full-Time – Legal 500 Ranked Firm

A leading Legal 500-ranked law firm is seeking an experienced and empathetic Family Solicitor at Senior Associate to Partner level to join its dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Family Law Solicitor to manage a diverse caseload involving divorce, financial remedy, child arrangements, domestic abuse and cohabitation matters.

This is a firm that does not hinge progression on PQE - development and progression is based on merit!

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Manage and progress a broad caseload of private family law matters
\n
• Advise clients on divorce, separation, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, child arrangements and injunctions
\n
• Draft a range of legal documents including court applications, witness statements, consent orders and financial agreements
\n
• Represent clients at court (where appropriate) and work collaboratively with barristers and external counsel
\n
• Conduct negotiations and support alternative dispute resolution processes
\n
• Provide high-quality client care with regular updates and clear communication
\n
• Maintain accurate file notes and ensure compliance with firm policies and SRA regulations
\n
• Take part in internal team meetings, legal knowledge sharing and external business development initiatives
\n

Your Requirements

\n
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (England & Wales)
\n
• Minimum 5 years’ PQE in family law (preferred)
\n
• Strong working knowledge of UK family law, court procedures and best practices
\n
• Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently
\n
• Excellent drafting, advocacy and negotiation skills
\n
• Compassionate and professional approach to handling sensitive client matters
\n
• Proficient with legal case management systems
\n
• Motivated to contribute to the firm’s business development and growth
\n
