Job Type: Temporary to permanent

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday with shifts of 6am–4pm and 2pm–12pm, with Saturday shifts (6am–4pm) on a 1-in-3 basis (35 hours a week)

We are seeking a Forklift Driver to join our client's team. This role involves operating a counterbalance forklift to efficiently load and unload lorries and organise pallets within racking areas. The ideal candidate will have a valid counterbalance forklift licence and a driving or motorbike licence to commute to the location.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload goods from lorries.
\n
• Safely transport goods to storage areas and place pallets on racks.
\n
• Ensure operations are conducted in line with safety standards and procedures.
\n
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure it is in good working order.
\n
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimise loading and storage processes.
\n
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the work area.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence.
\n
• Possession of a driving or motorbike licence to reach the workplace.
\n
• Proven experience in operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
\n
