We are seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join a fast-growing multi-site consumer business on a maternity cover contract. This role offers the opportunity to provide crucial financial insight and support operational decision-making during an ambitious growth phase.

Day-to-day of the role:

\n
• Take ownership of month-end reporting, P&L analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
\n
• Provide meaningful financial analysis and commercial insight to support operational teams.
\n
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.
\n
• Contribute to board reporting and performance analysis.
\n
• Partner with stakeholders to enhance profitability and business performance.
\n
• Monitor capital expenditure, new site performance, and return on investment.
\n
• Support audit processes, systems improvements, and ad hoc commercial projects.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
\n
• Experience within a multi-site retail, hospitality, leisure, or consumer-facing business.
\n
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in budgeting and forecasting.
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
\n
• A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and adding value to the business.
\n

Desirable Experience:

• Labour cost analysis and workforce planning.
\n
• Capex and property accounting exposure.
\n
• Cash flow analysis and reporting.
\n
• Experience supporting growth or site expansion programmes.
\n
